Justin G. Fok
Justin is the founder and lead attorney at our firm.
With over a decade of experience in immigration law, Justin has represented clients in nearly all immigration case types.
Currently Justin is focused on assisting start-ups with their immigration needs with a special emphasis on E-2 and L1A visas. Justin also focuses his practice on immigration-based litigation. He has been highly successful in acquiring legal permanent resident status or citizenship for applicants delayed by the FBI Name Check and has successfully represented numerous clients in Federal Court.
Justin also enhances his immigration law offerings by helping clients strategically minimize their pre-immigration tax exposure by using the latest tax and estate planning techniques to help his clients keep more of their existing wealth before becoming U.S. Tax Residents.
Justin has been admitted to practice before the following Federal District Courts:
Southern, Northern and Central District of California, Eastern District of California, Central District of California, District of Nebraska, District of Colorado, District of Columbia, Southern, Eastern, and Western District of Texas.
Justin earned his J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, an LL.M in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and is a member of the California State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Kruthi is a Law Clerk, and Attorney-at-law at the firm who primarily focuses her practice on employment-based immigration law and compliance.
Prior to joining our firm, Kruthi has worked and advised clients on business immigration matters pertaining to immigrant and non immigrant visas with special emphasis on H-1Bs, L-1s, O-1s, EB-1s, and EB-2s. She has also worked her time pro-bono as a volunteer attorney advising and assisting clients in citizenship, naturalization, adjustment of status, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) matters.
Prior to moving to the United States, Kruthi was an associate attorney at a leading corporate law firm in Bangalore, India. She obtained her B.A., L.L.B., (Hons.) degree from University Law College, Bangalore in 2009.
Kruthi received her LL.M. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York in 2014, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar.
Kruthi is admitted to practice in New York and is also a qualified Indian lawyer. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Kannada.
Xinwei is a Law Clerk, and Attorney-at-law who focuses primarily on self-sponsored immigrant petitions such as EB-1A, Extraordinary Ability Petitions, and O-1’s based on Extraordinary Ability.
Prior to attending law school at Davis, Xinwei already had extensive legal experience at international law firms in China. Before joining Fok Immigration Law, Xinwei interned as a Student Attorney at the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic and worked on complex immigration law issues, such as deportation and habeas corpus petitions.
Xinwei earned her J.D. degree from University of California, Davis. She also studied law for four years in China and received a Bachelor of Law degree.
Xinwei is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Ana is a Paralegal at our firm who focuses primarily on family-based immigrant petitions and naturalization cases.
Works hand in hand with firm attorneys to ensure the best outcome for our clients. Ana mainly focuses on family-based immigration at the firm. With nearly three years of experience working in immigration law, Ana truly believes that making the process easier for intending immigrants is essential to society.
Ana has helped hundreds of clients successfully file U-visas, DACA, adjustment of status, family and fiancé petitions, consular cases and naturalization applications.
Ana holds a BA in Sociology combined with Latin American and Latino Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Marili Iturbe Guadarrama
Marili is a Law Clerk who assists with employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas.
Growing up in the Bay Area, Marili has always dreamed of being an immigration attorney to help the immigrant community she was raised by.
Marili is one step closer to accomplishing her dream, she joined our team on May of 2018. She is currently a law student at Santa Clara University and is involved with student association. She is currently a board member of the Social Justice Coalition and the American Constitution Society. In addition, she is an active member of La Raza Law Student Association.
Marili received her undergraduate decree cum laude from The National Hispanic University, being the first in her family to graduate. During her undergraduate years she was President of the Student Government Association for two terms and was awarded the President’s Award for Exemplary Student Achievement in 2015.
Marili is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish fluently.
Lillian is our Office Manager and helps keep the entire firm on track.
Lillian has valuable experience working with law firms to ensure that daily operations run smoothly. She currently oversees daily scheduling, the client in-take process, and account receivables and payables. She has been with the law firm since its inception. Lillian believes that establishing a good office administrative system is one of the important factors that leads to the success of the firm.
In her free time, Lillian enjoys baking, leather crafting, and swimming.
Lillian graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Business Accounting in 2014.
Lillian is fluent in English and Mandarin.
